PROCEDURES THAT CAN BE PERFORMED WITH A PRECISE LASER
PRECISE LASERS FAQ
Have you been wanting to add a laser into your practice? There are many options available, all accompanied by different features and benefits. These are some of the most frequently asked questions about diode lasers and specifics on our Precise diode laser line.
HOW DOES A DIODE LASER WORK?
Diode lasers affect soft-tissue at the cellular level by using their energy to vaporize and modify soft tissue. Diode lasers offer increased precision, little-to-no bleeding or swelling, and significantly less postsurgical pain. Certain procedures may even be done without local anesthetic injections.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF HAVING A DIODE LASER IN MY PRACTICE?
Diode lasers offer you the most control over the operative site with their ability to ensure precise tissue sculpting resulting in clear margin preps while simultaneously cutting and sealing the tissue with minimal discomfort to your patient. Precise Diode Lasers are affordable, compact, portable, easy to operate, and readily adapt into your daily protocol.
HOW HAS THE USE OF LASERS IN DENTISTRY AFFECTED PATIENT CARE?
Diode lasers have raised the bar on dental care with the advantage to perform more procedures, with better results, in less time, and without sacrificing patient comfort. No longer just for specialists, lasers are being used more often in the general dental practice daily for optimal patient care and treatment. Their ability to be used in settings that others cannot, perform numerous procedures, offer predictable results, are substantially less invasive, easy-to-use, and their precise performance are all what make a diode laser the best addition to any practice!
WHAT FINANCIAL BENEFITS DOES A DIODE LASER OFFER?
Diode Lasers reduce chair time traditionally required both common and uncommon procedures. Simplified and highly effective, laser treatment allows you to add to your schedule and increase revenue with ease. Periodontal pocket laser treatment, frenectomies, fibroma, even the simple cold sore treatment can easily be done in shorter time with better results. All of these treatments and more keep your referral rate down and increase patient referrals of their friends and family to your practice.
HOW DO PRECISE LASERS SURPASS OTHER SOFT TISSUE LASERS?
Precise Lasers are fine-tuned to the best technology available in their class with an energy penetration of approximately 200 microns--making them not only effective, but safe. With over 15 years of experience, innovation, research, and development, Precise lasers are held to the highest quality standards. CAO is constantly evolving with the dental laser market to bring you the very best and most up-to-date products.
WHAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ARE NECESSARY?
There are simple guidelines set forth by both the ANSI and OSHA when using a Class IV laser in your practice. Additional regulations may be required in each state. These guidelines are readily available online and the CAO Group recommends instituting a Laser Safety Program that includes the appointment of a Laser Safety Officer and training on all laser aspects.
