Regional Sales Manager
|

CAO is seeking 3 Regional Sales Managers for representation in each geographic territory of Eastern US, Mid-West US, and Southern US regions. All 3 positions will be located here in West Jordan UT and will travel extensively to accomplish job responsibilities.
Objective: To drive significant sales growth for CAO Group, Inc. (CAO) and support existing sales activities. This person will be responsible for all field sales work within their assigned territory as well as coordinating with distributors and other resources to promote CAO products.
Key Responsibilities
The Regional Sales Manager will be an expert on the LED signage and lighting products developed and manufactured by CAO. Regional Sales managers must have an overall technical knowledge of LEDs and a thorough understanding specifically of CAO products in the areas of; product performance and specifications, application of products to specific industries and processes, and product troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities include:
- Drive key customer opportunities in LED Signage and Lighting segments.
- Communicate with our customers and distribution representatives to answer their technical questions.
- Promote CAO's technology by understanding and articulating its many advantages versus our competitors. Understand and respond to complex customer requirements.
- Gathering and submitting new ideas for products and features by reaching out to customers, industry partners and internal constituents.
- Interact with other departments in the organization to insure the proper handling of customer requirements.
- Trips to support evaluate and train new and existing Rep personnel. This includes participation in trade shows, troubleshooting lighting products in the region, and evaluating lighting applications in the region.
- This role will require a fair amount of travel, up to 60% at times.
Qualifications & Experience
BA or BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience in technical sales. The ideal candidate has 5+ years experience in Sales of LEDs, Signage and or Lighting to end users, Reps and or Distribution. Business Development Experience preferred. Candidate must live within and central to the assigned region. No relocation assistance is available for this position.
